Bolton has once again recorded no new coronavirus deaths — with the streak continuing for over two weeks.
According to NHS England, nobody has died of the coronavirus at The Royal Bolton Hospital since June 10.
221 people have died at the hospital overall since the pandemic began, with the first death occurring on March 20.
However, the figures do not include people in the community or in care homes who have also died from Covid- 19.
Five people have been reported to have died across Lancashire in the latest round of figures released today.
Elsewhere, one new coronavirus death was reported to have happened on June 24 at Salford Royal Hospital, bringing their total up to 177 deaths.
However, in a post a spokesman for Salford Royal thanked staff for discharging a total of 336 coronavirus patients from the hospital.
They said: "Well done to our fantastic staff who have helped us to successfully treat and discharge 336 patients from Salford Royal who were diagnosed with Covid-19.
"We wish all our patients all the best for their onward recovery."
