Long wet walk home to Wales for uninsured speeder stopped on the M6
AN unlicensed driver was faced with a very long and wet walk home to Wales after being pulled over by Lancashire road police.
The Volkswagen came to the attention of officers as it was being driven at 85mph in heavy rain and hogging the middle lane of the M6 near Charnock Richard.
A spokesman said: “Maybe if they had passed a driving test they would have known this wasn’t allowed. No insurance either. Car seized meaning a long, wet walk to Wales.”
