A GROUP of boys were robbed by a gang in a car on Monday evening.
The teenage friends were walking on Crompton Way in Tonge Moor around 8.30pm when a blue Audi A4 turned up and six people got out the car.
The thugs punched one of the boys twice before stealing cash and goods including a black Armani man bag, an Xbox controller and Apple Airpods from them.
The car then made off towards Halliwell.
The attack understandably left the friends shaken up.
One of the victim's dads said: "My son was with a few of his friends making his way home when a a car pulled up and six people got out.
"They basically ransacked the kids and one of them got punched a couple of times.
"The lads were between 16 and 21.
"My son was shocked about it. He never thought this would happen to him.
"I am annoyed about it and these incidents need to be stopped because someone is going to get really hurt."
Greater Manchester Police say no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
