BOLTON Hospice have received a £1,000 donation online shopping giant from Amazon.
The donation is part of a programme to support communities around the company's operating locations, including their distribution centre on Over Hulton.
Nicolas Verdon, site leader at Amazon in Bolton, said: “Bolton Hospice is a source of great support for families in our community during difficult times and we wanted to support their efforts with this donation.”
Kathryn Willett, Fundraising Manager at Bolton Hospice said: “We are enormously grateful to Amazon for choosing to support us at this very difficult time, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
“Their extremely generous donation will go a long way to help us to continue caring for our patients and their families at the hospice, and at home, in these challenging times.”
