FANS were queuing round the block when tickets went on sale for boyband McFly at King George’s Hall, Blackburn, in 2007.
First in line was superfan Laura Ellison (pictured) who began queuing shortly before midnight accompanied by her mum and dad - some 11 hours before the box office opened.
At the time, McFly were one of the biggest teen bands around known for hits including Five Colours In Her Hair, Obviously and It’s All About You,
They were most used to playing arenas but their Up Close and Personal tour gave fans a chance to get closer to their heroes.
All 1,800 tickets for the show were snapped up inside 90 minutes.
