A FORTY-four year-old is set to face a crown court judge over child pornography allegations.
Michael Charnock, of Rosewood Avenue, Tottington, pleaded guilty to making 106 indecent images, at the most serious level of abuse, when he appeared before Manchester magistrates.
Charnock also admitted to making 27 indecent images at the next ranked level of seriousness, and making a further 26 indecent images at a third most-serious rating.
He also pleaded guilty to possessing an item of extreme pornography. The dates of the offences ranged from July 2016 to October 2017.
Magistrates committed Charnock for sentence to Minshull Street Crown Court, where he will appear for sentence on July 31.
He was also ordered to sign the sex offenders register on an interim basis, until his next hearing.
