PRIME Minister Boris Johnson announced a delay to planned lockdown easing - but does it go far enough?

Venues due to open tomorrow have seen their reopening date pushed back at least two weeks following local lockdowns in Greater Manchester, East Lancashire and West Yorkshire.

And face coverings are to be mandatory in indoor settings where people are likely to come into contact with people they do not know, such as museums and places of worship, from August 8, 

The number of new infections recorded on a daily basis has increased and prompted concerns about a possible second wave.
