History of the pub: It is a historic three storey pub in Horwich dating back to the late 1800’s. Recently it was transformed into a Hotel/Pub/Function venue offering great food.
We cater for birthdays, weddings and everything in between.
For weddings, we’ve got a terrific space with a private bar, creative menus and 9 en-suite guest rooms. Please please use the form below to find out more about what we have to offer.
For business meetings we have a large screen TV and are able to offer a competitive day rate that includes refreshments.
There’s also nine modern en-suite bedrooms with lots of original features maintained during the refurb. We are proud to say that we are rapidly building a reputation for great food and a stunning hotel.
Is there a beer garden? There is an outside seated smoking area.
Most popular drink served: cask ales, draft lagers and a gins.
Do you serve food? Yes we do varied traditional pub food from sandwiches to steak.
Daily deals include two pizzas for £10.00 on Monday and Tuesday.
Curry and a pint for £8.95 Wednesdays.
Two steaks plus a bottle of wine Thursday and Saturday for £25.00.
Fish Friday is fish, chips and mushy peas plus house lager, bitter or a glass of house wine or a soft drink for £9.95.
Sunday lunch £12.50 for two courses or £14.95 for three. There is a kids menu as well.
Have you faced any challenges? Yes covid 19 has been the worst time for us like all other pubs.
