A COLLISION involving a Honda and an ambulance rushing a patient to hospital happened on a busy junction earlier today.
The road traffic accident nvolving an ambulance and a Honda happened at the Stratton junction of Kingsdown Road and Beechcroft Road this morning.
A spokesman for South West Ambulance Service Trust said: "One of our ambulances was involved in a road traffic collision on Beechcroft Road, Swindon this morning when it was en route to hospital with a patient on board.
"Neither the patient nor the crew were injured in the collision, and another resource was dispatched to transport the patient to hospital.
"Two other patients were treated at the scene of the collision."
Police were called at 10.48am and partially closed the road while the vehicles were recovered from the scene of the incident near The Kingsdown pub.
