A TOP seafood company that provides produce to some of Bolton’s finest restaurants branched out to help domestic customers get the ‘quality of fish that they deserve’.

AO Seafoods, is owned by Adrian Ogden and has been running for 32 years and sources his produce from all over the world.

Adrian employs over thirty members of staff and provides seafood to to top restaurants in Bolton.

Because of lockdown Adrian said online sales soared and customers said that feedback has been amazing.

He said: “I had an email the other day from someone from the Isle of Man saying that the seafood that they ordered was the best fish that they have ever had.”

Ciao Baby in Egerton, La Scala, Rivington Bar and Grill and Tavern Fayre are just some of the restaurants that AO Seafoods provides to.

Adrian said: “We remain an independently operated and family run business, values which give us the opportunity to really tailor our service to suit you.

“Now, we feel it’s time for you, the great British public, to enjoy the same quality of seafood that you would expect at your favourite restaurant.

“Because of lockdown we lost 80 per cent of our turnover. The restaurants closed and we were left in limbo.

“That’s why I started to promote the domestic counter and online sales. I want the people who order to their homes to experience the same quality of seafood that people dining in top restaurants get.”

Swordfish out of the Indian Ocean and Salmon from Scotland gives customers a fantastic choice of product.

Fresh fish, frozen fish, lobster and crab, shellfish, smoked fish, the list is endless.

Adrian added: “Our frozen fish is still fantastic quality and incredible value for money. In fact, most of our selection has arrived to us fresh, been prepared in exactly the same way, then vacuum packed and frozen or it’s been blast frozen at sea, locking the freshness in.”
