There are plenty of animals in Greater Manchester that need to be rehomed.

Whether you are looking for a dog, cat, or even a bunny rabbit, a member of staff at these animals shelters will help you through the adoption process.

However, you need to remember that an animal is for life and not just for lockdown- you need to make sure you're capable of looking after an animal so they don't end up back in the shelter.

If you’ve ever thought about rehoming an animal, here are five adorable pets that need your love.

Titch came to the shelter as a stray- so not much is known about her.

She has a laid back nature and loves cuddles and attention.

While she is well-trained and good on a lead but she can be quite reactive to other dogs which is why she needs to be the only animal in the household.

Titch also needs to live in a child-free house, with an experienced adopter who will be with her for most of the day.

The shelter can’t accept applications for those who live above another apartment.

You can find out more about Titch on The Destitute Animal Shelter website.

If you have a quiet home and patience, then Klarisse could be the perfect cat for you.

The “gentle soul” came to the shelter when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her.

Her previous foster carer said: “Klarisse will be an excellent companion for the right owner who can be patient with her.

“She will probably spend a lot of time in her ‘safe spot’ over the first few weeks, but she was snuggling up with us on the couch after just a few days of having her.

“She even likes to play with string once she’s settled down a bit.”

Klarisse is best suited to an adult only home and would prefer not to live with a dog.
