Thunderstorms are set to hit the North West today, according to the Met Office.
A yellow warning has been issued for the region, warning that sever thunderstorms could affect some areas leading to possible sudden flooding and damage from lightning or hail.
The Met Office said: "Areas of thunderstorms are expected to develop over Wales and parts of England during Thursday.
"Some intense thunderstorms seem likely, associated with torrential rain, large hail and frequent lightning, as well as strong gusty winds."
They warned that certain areas could see rainfall of 30-40mm in less than an hour, with other locations even experiencing 60-mm in three hours.
