SOCIALLY-distanced celebrations were enjoyed at Canon Slade School.
Places to study medicine, veterinary science at top universities — including Oxbridge — await successful students.
And the school, like others, will be appealing grades for those for whom the system has failed and let them down.
Headteacher Karen Sudworth said: "Our staff and students have worked extremely hard during this strange and challenging year and we are extremely confident that our teaching assessments were fair and demonstrated the students’ academic abilities.
"However, as expected, we will be appealing on behalf of a minority of students for whom Ofqual’s algorithms have not worked and we expect a positive outcome from this.
Our staff are here in school to support all of our young people as they prepare for their next steps and we wish them all the very best for the future.”
Success stories include:
Kate achieving 3 A* and A grades to study medicine at University of Manchester.
André with 4 A* will be going to the University of Manchester
Emily - 3 A* Veterinary Sciences at University of Cambridge
Olivia – 4 A*and A Medicine at University of Birmingham
Ben – D*D*D reading Sport and Exercise Sciences at Durham University
Cameron – 3A* and A grades, Data Science Apprenticeship at University of Edinburgh.
