It’s your last chance to take advantage of the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme on bank holiday Monday.

However, deciding which restaurants to visit and take advantage of the incredible discount can be difficult- especially when there are so many fantastic options in Bolton.

This restaurant has received a 5/5 rating on Tripadvisor and a massive 1,113 ‘Excellent’ ratings.

The restaurant mainly serves Indian and Asian food, winning several awards such as Best Customer Service award in 2019- it even won the Bolton News Best Restaurant of the Year in 2019.

The restaurant has been visited by top chef and television personality, Ainsley Harriott.

Luckily, this restaurant is participating in the government’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme- and they said it has brought “a record breaking number of customers” to the restaurant.

Nurul Meah, manager of the restaurant, spoke to Bolton News and said: “Bank holiday Monday is a great opportunity for families and those who are usually working to have a discounted meal.

“We will be opening two hours early due to the high customer demand.

“To keep our customers safe we have hand gel at the entrance and a temperature check for every customer dining in.

“There are sanitising stations all over the restaurant and extra cleaning is always in progress.”

Baker’s

This café serves a variety of food, from delicious cakes to full English breakfasts.

They have a 5/5 rating on Tripadvisor and 263 happy customers have given the restaurant an ‘excellent’ rating.

Along with the government scheme, Baker’s also have an offer where you pay with your American Express card and get £5 cashback- this scheme is running until 13 September.

Earthlings

This café and restaurant is marketed as a healthy restaurant, specialising in organic food made with the freshest ingredients.

According to Trip Advisor, It’s the number one rated restaurant in Bromley Cross.

One Tripadvisor commenter wrote: “This restaurant serves healthy and interesting dishes- I Will be back for sure.”

Another wrote: “This is a lovely little family café that serves up restaurant standard food.”

Nam Ploy Thai Restaurant and Bar

Jenny Johnson, manager at the Nam Ploy spoke to The Bolton News and said: “We serve authentic Thai dishes using fresh ingredients at very reasonable prices.

The have received 247 ‘excellent’ ratings on Tripadvisor- one person commented: “This is a restaurant we’ve used many, many times over the years and it never disappoints.”

“Our most popular dishes are Gai Pad Grappow and our Thai Green Curry.”

Tapaz Ristorante

Tapaz and Ristorante specialises in Spanish cuisine and tapas dishes.

This restaurant has 600 ‘excellent’ ratings on Tripadvisor.

One person wrote: “Without a doubt the tastiest tapas we have ever had- we went for the fish and veggie options and every single dish was so full of flavour and just so tasty.”

Another wrote: “The service was fast and efficient, and the food was hot and very good.

“I will be back with my wife to try the varied and interesting menu.”
