A DRIVER who had drunk almost three times the legal level of alcohol has been ordered to carry out 60 hours on unpaid work.
At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Christopher Walsh, aged 33, of Wilmslow Avenue, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence as well as driving without care and attention and having no insurance.
The court heard that he was driving a VW Golf on Berkeley Road, Bolton, on April 17. Walsh was also banned from driving from driving for18 months and must pay £180 in costs and charges.
