A DRUG driver was on his mobile phone when he was caught by police on Wigan Road, Bolton.
Wigan magistrates heard how Scott Carey was committing a series of offences in the Ford Focus on January 4.
Carey, aged 50, of Manchester Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to using a mobile phone while driving, having no licence, insurance or MoT for the vehicle, driving after using cannabis and Diazepam and possessing diamorphine.
He was sentenced to participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities and fined £80 plus £175 in costs and charges. He was also banned from applying for a driving licence for two years.
