BOLTON has a proud tradition of staging theatrical productions of the highest quality.
The town boasts many amateur theatre groups whose productions have been eagerly anticipated. Local schools too have excelled in staging some great musicals and dramas.
Sadly, with the current Covid-19 restrictions it is unclear when all those highly talented performers will once again be able to take to the stage.
But that got us to thinking about past productions which have delighted so many and a trip back into the archives.
From family pantos to quality opera; from riotous comedies to murder mysteries. our local performers have never shied away from anything.
Behind them, of course, is a whole army of people who work tirelessly to make each production a success from producers and directors to all those involved in scenery, costumes and front of house.
We can’t wait to see you all again, back out doing what you clearly love, but in the meantime, here are a few memories.
