A HORWICH couple were watched by millions of TV viewers when they appeared on the Saturday night gameshow 3-2-1 in 1984.
Stephen and Gillian Openshaw were one of three couples competing on the show which combined questions with light entertainment.
Guests stars on the show that particular week were ventriloquist Ray Allan and Lord Charles and singer Maggie Moon and, of course, the show’s resident character, Dusty Bin.
Stephen was a police officer in Bolton and Gillian was a civil servant.They are pictured on the 3-2-1 set with host Ted Rogers and hostess Caroline Munro.
