A huge pile of rubble, from what appears to be a garage, was found flytipped in Dobb Brow in Westhoughton earlier this week.
Included in the flytipped rubble were whole pebble dash panels usually used to make garages, along with pieces of wood and and a window.
The rubbish was spotted on a foot path by walker John Challender who reported it to the Council.
He said: "I was disgusted, unfortunately it is a frequent occurrence everywhere you go these days.
"This particular part of the path is also for access to the neighbouring fields.
"These people are willing to take the money to dismantle these things, but will not pay the cost for the rubbish to be disposed of."
