A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been charged after a man was shot in Levenshulme.
Dean Flowers, of Pipewell Avenue, Gorton, has been charged with section 18 assault, possession of a firearm and ammunition in a public place and possession of a firearm when prohibited for life.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Manchester Magistrates' Court on Monday.
At around 6.40am on Sunday, September 13, police were called by the ambulance service to reports of a man with gunshot wounds on Pennington Street.
The victim – aged 36 – was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.
He has since been discharged from hospital and is recovering at home.
