The ASDA foundation is calling for customers to nominate their favourite grass roots organisations to give a helping hand to this Christmas.

The store wants people to nominate a local charity or group close to their heart which has gone above and beyond in their community in making sure no one has been on their own throughout the pandemic, helping to reduce isolation and poverty and providing a community lifeline.

Asda store across the region will choose up to six different community groups to receive a £300 grant as part of the company's Christmas activities to thank charities for their commitment to the community throughout 2020, with six groups per each Asda store in the region set to receive the funds.

To nominate a charity or group, customers must complete a ‘Nominate a Cause’ form which can be found on the community board in store, or can be downloaded from asdafoundation.org.

Once complete, the form must be handed in to the Customer Service desk by September 30.
