A MAN who seriously assaulted a woman has been sentenced to 18 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months.
Jesse Thomas, aged 23, of Redthorpe Close, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence, causing his victim actual bodily harm, on August 10.
Bolton magistrates ordered him to participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities and he must pay £213 in costs and charges.
A restraining order was made banning him from contacting his victim.
