Police arrested five men from Bolton yesterday after they were spotted by a police helicopter allegedly stealing a catalytic converter from a vehicle.
The men had used a jack to lift up a vehicle on Wordsworth Road, Old Trafford, to gain access to the catalytic converter.
A police helicopter was already in the area and caught sight of the incident.
Offices arrested the men for robbery and going equipped.
Greater Manchester Police said: "Five males from Bolton arrested for robbery and going equipped after being caught with the help from our helicopter.
