A MAN has been electronically tagged after he admitted damaging fire extinguishers at a Bolton hotel.

At Wigan Magistrates' Court Nathan Williamson, aged 28, of Battenberg Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage at the Britannia Hotel on Beaumont Road on September 5.

He was given a community sentence which includes a 7pm to 7am curfew for six weeks, which will be electronically monitored.

He was also ordered to participate in 15 days of rehabilitation activities and pay the hotel £200 in compensation.
