Driver arrested on Plodder Lane after losing control of his car
A MAN has been arrested after crashing into a garden in Farnworth.
Officers were called to a house on Plodder Lane after a driver lost control of his car, careering into the front garden of a property.
The black Volkswagon smashed through the garden fence, coming to rest in the property hedge.
Officers arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of drug driving, after the man behind the wheel allegedly failed a roadside drug test.
Posting about the incident on their Twitter page, GMP Traffic said: "Driver arrested yesterday on Plodder Lane, Bolton after losing control.
"Driver failed roadside drug test. Might explain his parking."
