BOLTON'S historic halls have reopened to the public after lockdown.
Hall 'th Wood will open Tuesday and Saturday and Smithills Hall will be welcoming visitors on Wednesday to Friday and on Sundays.
It comes as Bolton Museum and Library Service reopens the rest of its libraries.
Blackrod, Bromley Cross, High Street and Little Lever libraries reopened after March this week.
The History Centre at Bolton Central Library has also reopened, but pre-booking is essential on 01204 332853.
Visitors to Smithills Hall need to book advance timed slots by visiting www.eventbrite.co.uk or calling 01204 332853.
Social distancing and hand hygiene measures will be in place, maximum capacities will apply and visitor details will be recorded to assist with NHS Test and Trace.
Visitors are asked to wear a face coverings when visiting libraries and the historic halls.
