The van that was seized by police on Market Street in Little Lever
A VAN with no insurance was seized by police after its driver fled the scene as a passenger in another vehicle.
Officers carried out checks on the van and discovered it had no insurance.
But police say the driver "didn't want to stop around" at the location on Market Street in Little Lever and jumped into a vehicle before it made off towards Hall Lane.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Officers from the Little Lever Neighbourhood Team have seized this van from Market Street.
"The van was found to have no insurance.
"The driver didn’t want to stop around and jumped into another vehicle as a passenger and made off towards Hall Lane."
