OFFICERS have recovered a stolen Citroen Picasso from a Bolton road.
A passer-by alerted Greater Manchester Police to the suspicious vehicle yesterday morning, with a patrol from the traffic division discovering the stolen car – which was using fake license plates at the time.
The car has now been recovered, and will go through a forensic examination before it's returned to its rightful owner.
If you have any information about the stolen car, please contact police by calling 101.
Anyone who thinks they may have seen a vehicle using false plates can report the incident to police via their website.
