Four remembrance poppies have been reportedly stolen from the roadside in Astley Bridge.
The poppies had been installed along railings in the area ahead of Remembrance Sunday on November 8.
It costs £5 to sponsor the the poppies with all proceeds going to the Royal British Legion.
On Wednesday evening two were removed from Bar Lane and two more were taken from the railings at High Lawn Primary School.
Hilary Fairclough said: "So disappointed, on Wednesday night four of our poppies were stolen.
"Two from Bar Lane and two from the railings on High Lawn School.
"These poppies are sponsored at £5 each and every penny goes to the Royal British legion to support our armed forces. Shame on you."
