MAGISTRATES have fined a man £400 after he was caught selling fake Michael Kors and Chanel purses, watches and perfume.

At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Arash Sediqi, 47, of Greenheys Road, Little Hulton, pleaded guilty to the offences on February 2 and April 11, 2017.

He was also ordered to pay £125 in costs and charges.

A MAN who damaged the wing mirror on a woman’s car has been sentenced to a conditional discharge for six months.

At Manchester Magistrates’ Court Craig Littler, 49, of Greenroyd Avenue, Bolton, pleaded guilty to criminal damage and was ordered to pay £100 in compensation plus £107 in costs and charges.

MAGISTRATES have banned a motorist from the roads for four months after he was caught being in charge of a vehicle while over the alcohol limit.

Police found Callum Benson, aged 22, of Westland Avenue, Farnworth with the VW Golf on Albert Road, Farnworth, on September 26.

At Wigan Magistrates’ Court he was fined £209 plus £119 in costs and charges.

A WOMAN who ignored the coronavirus restrictions has been fined £30 by magistrates.

Wigan magistrates heard how Jamie Salmon, aged 24, of Mornington Road failed to obey a police officer enforcing restriction of movement on April 16.

She pleaded guilty and was also ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.

DRIVER Adnaan Ali Abdi, aged 34, of Morrison Street, Bolton had drunk almost double the alcohol limit when his Honda Jazz was stopped in Croston Street, Farnworth, on October 3.

Abdi pleaded guilty to drink driving and was banned for 18 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £117 in costs and charges.

A MOTORIST from Northern Ireland was caught driving in Bolton after using cocaine.

Bolton magistrates heard how John Mongan, aged 41, of Hammond Street, Moneymore, County Londonderry, was driving a Renault Scenic on Chorley New Road, Bolton, on January 13.

Mongan pleaded guilty to drug-driving and also admitted having no insurance.

He was fined £240 and banned from driving for 15 months.

Mongan was also told he must pay £117 in costs and charges.

A MAN who assaulted a woman and damaged a window at her home has been given a conditional discharge for 18 months.

At Bolton Magistrates’ Court, Lee Owen, aged 46, of Bury Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offences on August 14.

Owen was also ordered to pay £107 in costs and charges.

A WOMAN had been electronically tagged and ordered to have treatment for alcohol addiction after she was caught drink driving.

April Glover, aged 55, of Warth Road, Bury, had drunk more than double the legal limit when she drove a Nissan Micra on Stitch-mi-Lane, Harwood, on August 18.

She pleaded guilty to committing the offence and failing to attend court.

Glover was banned from driving for two years and made subject to a 7pm to 7am curfew for three months.

In addition she must have treatment for alcohol addiction for six months, participate in 15 days of rehabilitation activities and pay £180 in costs and

charges.
