Blackburn town centre was eerily quiet again today with many shops having to close due to the lockdown.
King Willaim Street did have people making their way to McDonalds, Marks and Spencer, Greggs and the banks. But few more were venturing out after being told to stay at home.
The Mall itself was empty despite the fact some including stores have remained open. Wilko remained open as were Boots and Bodycare.

The Mall had introduced a two-way system inside with people being asked to walk on the left rather than having to use specific entrances and exits.
The entrance to Blackburn Market remained open for anyone wanting to visit the food and fresh food stalls. You can find more about which stalls are open at Blackburn Market click here.
Blackburn Library will close its doors for a month but a spokesman said it will be offering a call-and-collect service to more people during the lockdown.
People can call the library, choose their title and this can be collected at the Northgate entrance or it can be delivered. Find out more by e-mailing library@blackburn.gov.uk or call 01254 661221.
