ONE of Greater Manchester's Deputy Lieutenants laid a wreath on behalf of The Queen at Farnworth.
Saeed Atcha, founding chief executive of the charity Youth Works, is one of the monarchy's personal representatives for the region.
And Mr Atcha paid tribute to the town's war dead as part of the socially-distanced commemorations taking place across the borough.
His fellow lieutenants performed similar ceremonies across the area, with former newspaper editor Paul Horrocks leaving a wreath at Tottington.
