A CAR was stopped last night after being involved in a "disturbance" in Bolton, police say.
The white Toyota Prius was sighted on St Peter's Way by officers and brought to a halt using "pre-emptive tactics" in Farnworth.
After a roadside breath test took place an arrest was made on suspicion of drink driving.

In a separate incident, a VW Transporter van was spotted by police in Breightmet.
After being requested to stop, the driver made off and abandoned the van on Priory Place.
The driver then fled on foot through gardens.
The van was seized on suspicion of being stolen.

Meanwhile, in another separate a BMW 535 on Kay Street in Bolton was stopped for driving at excess speed.
Police say the driver was found to have no valid insurance.
The car seized and a traffic offence report was issued.
