A MAN has been arrested after a woman was robbed near a supermarket cash machine in Harwood yesterday evening.
Police say they were sent to Lea Gate just after 6.45pm following reports of a robbery.
A woman had withdrawn some money from a cash machine and then had her bank card and cash stolen.
Members of the public subsequently detained a man following the incident.
Police arrived and arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery.
He remains in police custody for questioning.
