A MAN was shot in the foot in Salford this morning, Thursday.
Police went sent to Cromwell Street shortly after 8am following a report than a 39-year-old man had gone to hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot.
The incident is not being linked to a reported shooting on Littleton Road in Salford on Tuesday evening.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
A GMP spokesman said: "Police were called just after 8am this morning to a report of a 39-year-old man reporting to hospital with a gunshot wound to the foot.
"Enquiries are ongoing but this is not believed to be linked to any other incidents at this time.
"No arrests have been made."
