TWO more patient have died at the Royal Bolton Hospital after contracting coronavirus.
Both patients died yesterday, November 18, and were added to the official government statistics this afternoon.
Since March, 346 deaths at the borough's hospital have been linked to coronavirus.
In addition, an extra 118 cases of covid-19 were diagnosed across the borough, bringing the total number of infections to 13,961.
This is the lowest number of new daily cases reported since the start of October.
In the week up to November 14, a total of 1,255 new cases were confirmed across the borough – an infection rate of 436.4 new cases per 100,000 people.
The weekly infection rate has not been this low since the middle of October.
At its peak, Bolton had an infection rate of 568.2 – with the number of new cases slowly dropping since that high from the week up to October 26.
