A MAN who poured a can of beer over a woman and damaged her front door on November 11 has been jailed for six weeks. Brian Brough, aged 34, of Newby Road, Bolton, admitted breaching his licence and pleaded guilty to assault an criminal damage.

A CARELESS driver has been convicted and fined £880 after failing to turn up to court. Patrick Bihari, aged 19, of Mellor Grove, Bolton, drove a Toyota Avensis on Deane Road, Bolton, on April 8 without due care and attention and had no licence or insurance.

A MAN who sent offensive and indecent messages has been jailed for 22 weeks. Craig Jones, aged 35, of Park Street, Bolton, made an indecent or offensive phone call to a woman on September 28.

A WOMAN who had drunk more than double the legal alcohol limit has been banned from the roads for drink driving after drink driving. Holly Speakman, aged 37, of Aspen Close, Westhoughton, was caught driving a BMW 1 series on Lower Leigh Road, Westhoughton on June 13.

MAGISTRATES have banned a man from holding a driving licence for 12 months.Abdirisaaq Abdi, aged 29, of Dickinson Street, Bolton, drove an Audi A3 on Prince Street, Bolton, on May 26 while over the alcohol limit.

A WOMAN who had taken a cocktail of illegal drugs has been sentenced to a conditional discharge for two years for drug driving. Vicky Strange, aged 35, of Sandhill Close, Great Lever, admitted driving a Transit van on Parkfield Street, Bolton on February 25 after taking cocaine and amphetamine. She was banned from obtaining a driving licence for two years.

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £80 after he was caught breaking coronavirus regulations restricting movement. Rayesh Junaugradar, aged 24, of Ellesmere Street, Bolton, pleaded guilty to contravening the Covid-19 regulations on April 12.

A CARELESS driver who had no insurance for his BMW has been banned from the roads for 12 months. Mohammed-rayyan Adam, aged 21, of Higher Dunscar, Egerton, pleaded guilty to committing the offences in a BMW 520 on Walker Fold Road, Bolton, on April 11.

MAGISTRATES have fined Joseph McKerrow, aged 26, of Manchester Road, Bolton, £120 after he admitted using threatening behaviour towards a police officer on August 10.

A WOMAN who drove off after an accident in which someone was injured has been fined by magistrates. Georgia Ashmore, aged 22, of Purbeck Drive, Horwich, was driving a Renault Clio carelessly on Halliwell Road on May 25 when the accident occurred. Ashmore pleaded guilty to driving without due care and attention and failing to stop or report an accident. She was fined £240 and was banned from driving for six months.

A MAN has been electronically tagged after he admitted assaulting two people in Wigan on August 12. Anthony Noel, aged 35, of Pryce Street, Halliwell, was sentenced to an eight-week curfew. He was also ordered to pay £50 in compensation.

A MAN caught driving a stolen SUV has been handed a conditional discharge by magistrates after they heard he is already serving a lengthy prison term for robbery. Elliott Rigby, aged 34, of Empire Road, pleaded guilty to driving a stolen Volvo XC90 in Bolton on February 20 and having no insurance. In May Rigby was jailed for four years and eight months after robbing the Co-op store in Horwich at knifepoint. For the motoring offence Rigby was banned from holding a driving licence for 12 months

A MAN who had used cannabis has been fined £200 by magistrates after he was caught in charge of a vehicle at Lostock Parkway rail station car park. Callum Griffiths, aged 20, of Pailton Close, Lostock, was banned from driving for three months.

A DRINK driver also had no licence or insurance. Samuel Slack, aged 22, of Astley Brook Close, Bolton, was caught driving a Ford Fiesta on Manchester Road, Bolton, on September 19. He was banned from applying for a driving licence for 12 months.

A MAN caught drink driving in an electric Smart car has been ordered to do 100 hours of unpaid work. Daniel Fishwick, aged 20, of Church Street, Ainsworth, admitted having drunk almost three times the legal alcohol limit when he drove the Smart Fortwo Passion on Cocky Moor Road, Bury, on June 21. He was banned from driving for two years.

A MAN who hurled religious abuse at a police officer when he was arrested for possessing heroin has been electronically tagged. McCauley Sleigh, aged 23, of Sandhurst Court, Bolton, was caught with the drug on July 14, but on two occasions he used threatening words or behaviour to PC Hussain, which the court decided were religiously aggravated. He was sentenced to an 8pm to 6am curfew for 15 weeks, ordered to participate in 15 days of rehabilitation activities and pay £100 in compensation to the officer.

MAGISTRATES have fined a man £35 after he failed to attend probation service appointments. Michael Bell, aged 27, of Bradford Street, Bolton, admitted breaching his community order, which was imposed on January 23.

A DRIVER caught using a Ford Mondeo on Watergate Lane, Bolton on August 13 without a licence or insurance has been jailed. Just three months after committing the offences, 23-year-old William Molyneux was caught driving another Mondeo on Union Road on November 11. As well a pleading guilty to the first offences Molyneux, of Poplar Avenue, Horwich, admitted driving whilst banned, careless driving on Deansgate and having no insurance. In addition to 24 weeks in jail, Molyneux was banned him from applying for a driving licence for five years.

A FORMER prisoner who breached the terms of his licence by heading abroad has been fined £100.

Stephen Fisher, aged 30, of Crescent Avenue, Bolton, was prohibited from leaving the UK without prior permission. But on July 27, Fisher contacted his probation officer and told them, “I’m on holiday in Greece”.
