BOSSES at a shopping centre are spreading a little kindness, by decorating rocks and placing them around the centre with positive quotes and motivational messaging.

Staff at Spinning Gate in Leigh have included quotes and messages to encourage shoppers to remain safe and positive during such difficult times.

The rocks are hidden around the centre and shoppers are invited to take one and relocate them near their homes to help put a smile on someone else’s day.

Karen Cox, centre manager, said: “We wanted to provide a little smile moment for our shoppers that is Covid safe.

“What better way than sharing a little positivity with a few words to make our shoppers smile.

“Let’s help each other through these difficult times and spread some smiles along the way.”

Following latest Government guidelines during the England-wide lockdown, a number of essential stores remain open within the centre, along with cafes providing a takeaway service only and some stores operating a click and collect service for shoppers.
