A cancer charity is reminding residents that its services are still running despite centres being closed due to lockdown.
Bolton’s Macmillan information and support service is continuing to provide services via phone or email despite its support centres at the Royal Bolton Hospital, Bolton Hospice and Bolton One being closed.
Sue Summerfield, Macmillan centre manager, said: "Despite going back into lockdown, the Macmillan Information and Support Service team is still on hand to support people living with cancer, their families and healthcare staff at this incredibly difficult time by phone or email.
"We are doing everything we can to adapt our services so we can continue to provide essential support to people living with cancer across Bolton during the coronavirus crisis."
Macmillan Bolton can be reached on 01204 663059 or email boltoncancerinfo@nhs.net.
