A supermarket has donated over 1500 food hampers to help those in need.
Iceland, in Manchester Road, has been working with its customers over the last couple of months to donate chocolate and a variety of other foods, first to the emergency services, and now to the charity Urban Outreach.
The store donated over £1,000 worth of chocolate to the charity to help them build their Christmas hampers for those that need it.
Andy Algar, a fundraising representative for Iceland, said: "We dropped off over 1500 hampers to help towards their appeal.
"We've been collecting all the time at the moment as many people are struggling and we wanted to help."
