The leader of Bolton Council has welcomed the news of the new Oxford and AstraZeneca vaccine.
Cllr David Greenhalgh says this, along with announcements made by Boris Johnson yesterday that an end to restrictions is within sight, will help ease "worry for so many people".
He urges that we are not "out of the woods yet" but that there are reasons to be optimistic.
The council leader said: "We're clearly not out of the woods yet, but today we must welcome the news of the Oxford vaccine, and added to the further two vaccines that we have already received positive feedback from, we have potentially an end in sight, an end to restrictions and an end to isolation and worry for so many people."
