A NEW technology partner has teamed up with Bolton Wanderers on a multi-year deal.

Club bosses have appointed Bolton-based Eventura, an IT and business systems specialist, to look after their tech needs.

Eventura, based in St George's House, already has leading local names such as The University of Bolton, Carrs Pasties, Franking Sense and Cowgills on their books.

Company officials say they will be looking after the League Two side's business systems and processes at the club and Bolton Whites Hotel, and will also help to introduce new and innovative fan-involvement schemes in the future.

Dr Chris Houghton, their CEO and founder, said: “All of us at Eventura are delighted with this collaboration. It will bring benefits to both parties and also increase the cooperation between the Bolton family of companies already working together.”

Andrew Gartside, Wanderers' CEO, said: “We have long been impressed by and thankful for the support from Eventura, especially over the past couple of years which have brought about well-documented challenges to the business. This long-term agreement illustrates their commitment to our club.”

Club chairman Sharon Brittan said it was great to "cement a long relationship" between the two parties.
