A MAN from Bolton has been arrested after Greater Manchester Police (GMP) executed warrants in Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

Matthew Lister, 40, of Monks Lane, Bolton has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

Lister is one of ten men arrested after officers executed warrants on Thursday, November 19, at eight addresses in Ashton Under Lyne, Hyde, Stalybridge, Openshaw; Bolton and Rossendale.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Friday, December 18, alongside Remi Merrimam, 33, of Cambourne Road, Hattersley, who has been charged with eight counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and two counts of conspiracy to convey listed A article into prison; Lewis Carr, 29, of Hart Mill Close, Mossley, who has been charged with eight counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs; Andrew Brereton, 54, of Bob Massey Close, Openshaw, who has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and Benjamin Grimes, 30, of Hall Carr Road, Rossendale who has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs and one count of producing a controlled drug of class B.

Also arrested were Jordan Carr, 22, of Princess Street, Ashton-Under-Lyne, who has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs; Jeanette Carr, 54, of Princess Street, Ashton Under Lyne, who has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs; David Cottrell, 29, of Alexandra Street, Ashton Under Lyne, who has been charged with four counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs; Nathan Powell, 30, of HMP Forest Bank, who has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs, and David Mulligan, 30, of HMP Garth, who has been charged with two counts of conspiracy to supply class A drugs.

They will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Thursday, December 3.
