A DRUG driver who had used cocaine has been banned from the roads for 14 months. Bradley Harris, aged 32, of Holden Mill, Blackburn Road, Bolton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence and having no insurance when he drove a Seat Ibiza on Brownlow Way, Bolton, on May 9.In addition to the driving ban Harris was fined £150.

A MOTORIST involved in a collision has been fined £300 by magistrates after he admitted driving an Audi Q5 in New Lane, Breightmet, without care and attention on September 15. Craig Morley, aged 34, of Glaister Lane, Breightmet, had initially denied the offence but then changed his plea to guilty.

As well as the fine, he was ordered to pay £167 in costs and charges.

A WOMAN has been banned from the roads for three years after she was caught drink driving. Andrea Handley, aged 35, of Sycamore Walk, Horwich, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Astra on Chorley New Road, Bolton on May 2 whilst over the alcohol limit. She was also fined £400.

MAGISTRATES have sentenced a man to a conditional discharge for 12 months after he pleaded guilty to damaging a woman’s from door on November 8. Shaun Shakeshaft, aged 36, of Church Street, Farnworth, was also ordered to pay £85 towards prosecution costs and a £22 victim surcharge.

A MAN caught with cocaine on October 10 has been handed a conditional discharge for 12 months by magistrates. Reece Newcombe, aged 27, of Red Rose Gardens, Little Hulton, pleaded guilty to committing the offence.

A DRUG addict who burgled a Bolton hotel and two other businesses has been spared jail. Magistrates heard how Stephen Done, aged 47, of Pentland Terrace, Halliwell, stole a laptop, worth £1,200, from the Holiday Inn on March 27. The same day he burgled St George’s House and stole a television and a week earlier he stole a webcam, worth £800, from Taylor & Taylor Financial Services. Done pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary. Magistrates were told he is now addressing his drug addiction and he was sentenced to 52 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months. He must also participate in 30 days of rehabilitation activities and pay a £122 victim surcharge plus a total of £600 in compensation to the businesses.

A WOMAN has been banned from holding a driving licence for 18 months by magistrates after she admitted drink driving. Ella McNeil, aged 21, of Ward Street, Belmont, had drunk almost double the legal alcohol limit when she was caught driving a Vauxhall on Foundry Street, Bolton on July 18. In addition to the ban, she was fined £346.

A THUG who assaulted a woman and two police officers has been ordered to do 200 hours of unpaid work. Ryan Crowder, aged 25, of Kentmere Road, Breightmet, denied committing the offences on July 3 but was convicted following a trial. He was ordered to pay the officers a total of £300 in compensation and must participate in 30 days of rehabilitation activities.
