A FAMILY have been left 'devastated' after a grandfather died when he was hit by a delivery wagon.

Officers were called to reports of a collision between a large delivery wagon and a pedestrian on a backstreet off Bradford Street shortly after 9.45am on Saturday November 28.

Clive Atkinson, 65, was pronounced dead at the scene despite efforts from paramedics to save his life.

No arrests were made and the driver of the wagon stayed in the area to speak with officers.

Clive's family said: "Our whole family is devastated by this awful incident.

"Clive Will be sadly missed by his wife - Lorraine, son - Daniel, daughters - Heidi and Keeley, daughter-in-law - Leesa and all his grandchildren."
