    Emily Jones, aged 7, was killed in Queens Park, Bolton, on Mothers' Day, March 22.
  • Eltiona Skana, aged 30, of Ernest Street, Bolton, used a craft knife to slit Emily's throat and her injury was not survivable.
  • Skana denies murder but has admitted manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility. She has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia.
  • The prosecution claim that she is hiding behind the diagnosis and had planned to kill.
