LANCASHIRE Police has launched an appeal to find a man with links to Bolton - five days after he vanished.

Simon Day was last seen at an address in Whalley, Lancashire, on Wednesday (November 25), with officers believing he left there the following day.

Since then, he has not returned home.

Lancashire Police say they are "very concerned for his welfare and need anyone, or indeed Simon himself, to make contact with us as soon as possible".

A spokesman added: "He has links to Clitheroe, Leyland, Horwich, Preston, and Stoke-on-Trent."

Simon, 54, is described as being 6ft 2ins, with a slim but muscly build with grey hair.

He may be wearing a dark blue jacket with bits of orange and blue Adidas trainers.
