FAMILY and friends paid tribute to a former carer from Bolton.

Hilda Greenwood passed away on November 30, aged 82.

The much-loved mum of Gillian and Frank, grandma of Natalie, Richard, James and

Danielle will be missed by family friends and many who knew her.

Hilda worked as a carer for those with dementia at care homes in Greater Manchester and was an avid cook and baker for her family.

She dedicated her time to her family and chose to look after the elderly once they had grown up.

Her only daughter Gillian paid tribute to her late mum.

She said: “We would like to thank everyone for all of their cards and well-wishes.

“Mum was a fantastic woman and so kind, we will miss her cooking and baking and her love and warmth.

“She kept herself to herself but was known for her caring nature.”
