A CHILLING video released by police shows Eltiona Skana on CCTV casually strolling into Bolton town centre, where she bought a craft knife used to kill Emily Jones later that afternoon.

And after committing the horrific crime, in bodycam footage of her arrest she calmly expains to the officer that she has a knife in her backpack.

After Skana was sentence Greater Manchester Police released evidence, shown to a jury from Operation Honington, the name given to the investigation into seven-year-old Emily's killing.

Piecing together film from CCTV cameras located around the town centre Skana, dressed in dark trousers, a long top and wearing a backpack is seen sauntering into the shopping area, stubbing out a cigarette on a bin and entering the Crompton Place shopping centre where she buys a set of craft knives from Pound Empire.

After a stop off at the centre toilets she then heads into Victoria Square where she buys a drink from Pounland before walking up Deansgate towards Queens Park in Heaton.

There she sat on a bench, waiting and pulled her hood up as Emily headed towards her on her scooter.

After grabbing and killing the little girl she ran off but was tackled by Tony Canty, who kept hold of her until police arrived.

Bodycam footage from an officer shows her in hancuffs being placed into the van.

"What's in your backpack?" the officer asks.

"ID and everything," she replies, adding, "Yes, and a knife."

After her arrest on suspicion of attempted murder she gives her name and addess and and is asked about the contents of her bag again.

She replies: "No bombs, no nothing. Just my ID and my mum's ID card. There is a knife, some water, some juice - nothing."
