SNOW has continued to fall in areas of Bolton with the white stuff hitting the borough two nights in a row – and a weather warning for ice has been issued for this evening.
These pictures, which have been shared by The Pike Snack Shack coffee shop in Horwich, show a beautiful wintry landscape near its premises.
The Met Office says that there has been a "frosty and potentially foggy start" for some in Bolton today.
But any lingering wintry showers are set to clear for the rest the morning.
The Met Office added: "A dry day will follow, with some sunny spells towards the afternoon.
"Generally light winds throughout, though feeling rather cold.
"Maximum temperature 5 °C."
And this evening from 6pm until 10am tomorrow, Wednesday, a yellow warning for ice has been issued with motorists warned to expect difficult driving conditions and residents urged to be careful when they are out walking.
